This is going to sound really dumb, but I cannot work out an easy way to copy events to double a loop play length. Surely there is some other way than having to use ctrl+c, set the caret to the end point and then ctrl+v?
There are any number of ways Alt + Drag, “Duplicate” or “Repeat” from menu …
Check out the Manual, always a good starting point.

How about: "edit/functions/duplicate (Control+D) or Repeat (Control+K) ?
