Copy/paste behavior on CC lane in the MIDI editor - C12 vs C13

Hi guys!

I’ve been using C13 for a while now, besides all the glitches and stuff, but it’s getting better. There’s this thing that’s driving me nuts, though, and apparently I only noticed it today:
on C13, if I select and copy some values in a CC lane of the MIDI editor, and then I paste those somewhere else, not only do I get them pasted, but a previous value is doubled…this can be useful sometimes but it’s definitely annoying me as I have to delete that little b***h any time I copy some values.
I checked on C12 and that behavior is not present…
Probably the following videos will help explain even better.

This is the behavior on C13:

This on C12:

Any ideas of how to get the C12 behavior on C13???

It certainly has something to do with in your C13 example the copied events are of “step” type, while in your C12 example they are “ramp”.

Thanks for the reply @Johnny_Moneto, but if you take a closer look to the C13 video, the initial values are “ramp/curve” ones, just like C12: it is Cubase that adds a “step” value before the copied ones, all by itself…

So probably the question is: how can I prevent Cubase from creating that step value before the ramp values that I copy on the lane?

bump.

Has anyone found a solution to this? This has been bugging me ever since the update to C13.
