I’ve created some custom notehead sets in one score, hoping to use in another. Can’t find a way to copy these into a new score. Any help would be fantastic.

There is a star icon on the bottom left, select your custom notehead set and make sure it’s filled. It will be added to your default library and available in all projects.
thanks for the suggestion. It copied over the names of my custom noteheads, but not the actual altered notehead … !
Perhaps you’ve altered one of the built-in notehead types, rather than created your own? When you create your new notehead set, Dorico adds the default black notehead used by the default notehead set to your new set. Don’t edit that one: add a new one by clicking the + button in the lower right section of the dialog, and edit that one. Once you’ve created your new notehead type, remove the default one from your set (assuming you don’t want it there).
