Could not read the file (stage 3 state 0 error 1)

Hello,
I have an import problem, when I open a wave or MP3 file, I get the message Could not read the file (stage 3 state 0 error 1) then the file you selected cannot be read (format not supported) I don’t understand, these files have nothing special.

What precise OS and CPU ? Can you fully uninstall and reinstall SpectraLayers and retry ?

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled

Via steinberg installer 

but it doesn't work

I had to do a Time Machine to go back to before the installation. I set Chrome as my default browser and it’s good
I don’t know why but I saw in a forum that chrome is more compatible with steinberg manager and it worked.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? I’m having the exact same problem with SpectraLayer 11.0.60 on macOS 11.7.10 on an Intel machine.

Whenever I try to open MP3s, WAVs, or AIFs I get:

Hi, I am not in Mac but one would assume that the situation is happening with all kinds of wavs and mp3 and not just specific ones.

Plus you have probably checked related browser searches already.
