Counterpart layout shortcut not working in Engrave mode

Hi,

I noticed the Counterpart layout function (W shortcut) doesn’t work well in Engrave mode. There’s a switch between layouts but the selection is lost. I think it might be a bug. I’m using Dorico 4.1

I have observed this.

Unfortunately due to the way selections differ between Write and Engrave mode, this is unavoidable at the moment. We hope to rationalise selections between Write and Engrave mode in future, which would make this possible.

Ok I see Then I suggest the W key do nothing in the Engrave mode. Very often, I forget to switch to Write mode before pressing the W key and I lose my position in my layout because it jumps anywhere in the other layout.
