CPU Overload

I’m getting a “CPU Overload/Audio drop out detected” error when playing back only 2 mono tracks. I don’t hear an error but I need to figure out why it keeps popping up even after hitting OK it pops up again
I’m using my laptop which I haven’t used in awhile but 6 months ago it worked perfectly…nothing has changed.
I’m running N7/ Windows 10 all the tracks are playing off the internal SSD drive.

Thoughts?

I do not use a laptop, but I would think that having an external drive for the tracks would be easier on your CPU. I couldn’t imagine trying to run my OS, Nuendo, and the Project file from the same drive, it would be a drop-out mess.
