When i scroll thru my tracks with my pointer keys i experience crackling and cpu spikes. The same thing occur when i for example open plugins and scroll around in the mixer, basically everything that use some form av graphics makes cubase crackle and produce cpu spikes.
Im running a M1 air with 16 gb of ram and i have not experienced this with cubase 11, only cubase 12.
The same phenomena occur both with and without Rosetta.
If you have Enable Record on Selected (audio/midi) tracks try turning that off.

Thats solved it, Thanks! Tho it is rather annoying to have to enable record everytime i want to play with my midi keyboard. This was not a problem with Cubase 11 but i hope future updates will solve this!
