CR-78 not recording

Recently got the Cherry Audio CR-78 . When I loaded it into a track and put into recording mode , I can hear it , it shows up on track meter as well as master level . But when actually recording , nothing shows up on the track , Audio or Midi , though can still hear it . Anyone know what settings I’m missing , everything else is good . It is the first VST drum machine I’ve tried . Any suggestions would be appreciated .

Recording a VST instrument is usually done by using either Render in Place or Audio Mixdown. Ie. there shouldn’t be the necessity to perform a traditional recording.
