I started a preload for several instruments of the Synchron Series. After preloading Duality Strings violins the NotePerformer app crashed. The Synchron Series indicates “Ready” although several instruments are missing. How can I resume the preload?
Unfortunately we can’t provide help for pure NotePerformer problems here on the Dorico forum. Right now, @Wallander is on hand and may be able to provide support, but in general, problems with NotePerformer need to be addressed to the Wallander support team.
I’m Preloading Spitfire Symphony Orchestra (2024) in NP5, and I’m getting notices for a few instruments/articulations that say the VST3 crashed and NP will attempt to preload it two more times. It continues to preload other instruments. This didn’t happen with Iconica or Synchron Prime preloads. I haven’t started the preload of my BBCSO Core yet. I’m just curious-anyone else have this issue? I wonder if it’s specific, perhaps, to this library? Not a big deal, but I am curious. It says I have an hour and 17 minutes to go, but only 8 of 85 instruments are preloaded; it’s already been at least an hour since the preload began. Time will tell.
Please search before you post if you can, @laughreyg, to see if any other users have encountered the same issue, and have started a thread already.
Almost all my preloads fail. All of Synchron, all of HOOPUS, and all but 12 instruments of Iconica. I’m on Win11, 64 GB RAM, Ryzen 7 5800X CPU.
EDIT: Synchron seems to have been resolved with an update to the player. Iconica resolved with a reinstall of Halion Sonic and reboot. HOOPUS preloaded all but 4 instruments after a couple of attempts.
Sorry Will do. It’s not really a problem to be fixed, per se; the preload is continuing just fine, and I’m assuming the re-loading attempts are automatic and ‘under the hood.’ My other libraries so far have preloaded just fine. I was just curious. I will do a search before new postings, though. BTW, the care, concern and compassion we ‘Doricans’ receive from you and the development team, and your patience-which must be herculean-is incredible, and in my experience, unprecedented. Thank you all! 
I hope a fix is coming. I have been able to preload BBCSO Pro, Cinematic Strings and partially Synchron Prime. However, my Spitfire Symphony Orchestra and my Hoopus fail and do not preload at all.
