The root folder of the projects are totally mess. Can you please make so that crash files, backup files are stored in a seperate directory?

There are no crash files…
If you go via Cubase File Open dialog, you would see the CPR files only.
Still it would be VERY easy to clean up this having the crash and backup files in a separate directory
it does not help that I am dyslexic - these sort of lists are REALLY hard to read.
