Please find attached crash report.

To simulate I did the following:

Created instrument with NI Massive
Loaded Kush UBK-1
Crash

Computer Spec:
Max OS X 10.15.4
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
2.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 GB
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

did this resolve itself for you?

I got daily crashes only with kush plugins last two months so I had to stop using them, very bummed

no other plugins causing crashes. was using ar-1 and twk all over the place, and others

I’m on osx 10.15.7 and 10.5.20 as well

Sent several crash reports to kush, nothing

I’m about to buy the Kush Clariphonic MKII.

Does its latest version still crash Cubase? If so then I’ll hold back! Thanks!

A plugin, should not be able to crash the host, they(yamaha/steinberg) need to add some logic to prevent that. there is a fundamental problem with VST design if that is happening.

Hi,

VST can do this. We call it sandboxing. But Cubase doesn’t use this way of hosting.

If VST, which is developed by Steinberg can do this, why doesnt Cubase take advantage of this?
Is there any reason, why Cubase is not using sandboxing?
