Crash report (probably audio related)

First of all: I am not expecting help, this is only for the cause of making Dorico better and perhaps more stable.

Due to the need of multiple audio outputs and Dorico lacking the capability to address this, my audio routing is a bit on a complicated side.

I am routing Dorico’s audio with the help of Loopback virtual audio interface to DigitalPerformer that can handle the more complicated routing and also hosts Pianoteq for live playback.
The Loopback interface simply hijacks audio that comes from Dorico and at the same time in Dorico’s settings the audio output is routed to BlackHole virtual audio driver, this is basically /dev/null because it just ends nowhere, polluting the universe only a bit.

Usually I first open DP with the document that handles routing and then start Dorico. Today I had Dorico open already and then opened DP. Dorico crashed immediately. I then closed also DP, opened it again as usual and then started Dorico. After that playback in Dorico did not start. The playback cursor did not appear at all. When I tried to see the the audio output settings in Dorico I got unresponsive app. Killed Dorico, made a computer restart and everything is working again. But there is/was something on audio side that made this happen.

In diagnostic: the first crash happened between 11:50-11:51 on Dec. 7

Update:
the issue is rooted probably in Loopback interface and “hijacking” Dorico’s audio output. I have created a standalone virtual bus with Loopback, without hijacking and routed Dorico’s audio there. Now I can start apps in whatever order I want: no crashes.
