Crash when adding a new window (split screen)

Since the latest update (2.5.30.1091), if I split screen (three dots menu at the top + add new window) with another app while a project is already loaded, Dorico will freeze and then either freeze or force reload the project. If no file is already loaded it does not crash.

I can’t create a diagnostic report right now (see other post on that subject)

You should be able to find the crash log if you look in Settings > Privacy > Analytics. You can share the .ips file from there to your computer and then zip it up and attach it here.

In summary, the steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. start with a full screen window
  2. Load a project
  3. Choose “add new window” in the “…” menu at the top of the window and choose another app (any should do)
