When I launch CubasePro8 I am prompted to choose the ASIO driver. I don’t know why because It has already been selected previously. After I select my Motu Asio PCI driver again I get a “Cubase has stopped working” or “A serious problem has caused Cubase to stop working” message and the location of the crash log. When I try to upload the crash file to this post, another message appears on the forum post stating “The extension dmp is not allowed” What!!

When launching Cubase pro8.010 (64bit). Vsn 427 it opens an empty project but crashes when I select an existing project or template. I have unticked “Use Steinberg hub” in preferences but there is still no change.
