Greetings, I am new to this forum. Is there a way in Cubasis 3 to select, copy and paste multiple tracks so as to quickly assemble a song format such as verse-verse-chorus-verse, etc.? Additionally, can these sections be labeled globally?

Hi Ddipaola1,
Yes you can copy large sections of your project and paste it elsewhere.
First, you must set the ruler to the start of the parts to be copied, always starting from the top lane, tap the SELECT button (top left of screen) drag your finger or e-Pencil over all tracks you want to copy (they will all turn black), now tap the SISSOR tool, tap the SELECT button again and highlight all the tracks you want to copy. Now place the ruler at the position you want to paste the copied tracks to, (make sure you have highlighted the top midi lane), tap PASTE, all your tracks should now successfully be copied over to extend your project.
Sometimes you may want to add many tracks to the middle of your project, the procedure to do this is the same as copying, except this time and after copying your selected tracks, set the ruler to the new position to be expanded, after you tap the SISSOR tool all tracks to the right will automatically become highlighted, gently press anywhere on this highlighted area and drag all these bars to their new position. Now l place the ruler at the start position to paste your copied tracks making sure you have highlighted the top midi lane, if you accidentally have a wrong lane selected, the top pasted tracks will appear from that lane and you will have to move them up manually.

Where’s the looper? I’m going to choose drum or bass, BPM and endless repetition of rhythm (for example, 126 beats per minute).

Check my photo, the purple tab is the looper (cycle), set the left and right song position markers, tap play and it will continue to repeat as long as the cycle tab is activ.

Mike, I know about it and use it, but apparently I’ll have to use third-party drum loopers to set the exact beat, because playing the beat with my fingers is still uneven.
