Create Groove Quantise Preset? solved it

I could use a little help here please from MIDI heads.

I want to highlight a group of notes in a MIDI part extract the groove and save as a preset. Simples!

In the manual, page 111 it has a section called ‘Create Groove Quantise Preset’
but then it only refers to extracting groove from audio hitpoints and slices. Not MIDI.

What am I missing? I’m sure I’ve done this on older Cubase versions, instinctively.
Maybe I am just having a blond moment.

Solved by reading page 113 carefully.

You have to be OUT of the MIDI editor (I was in it)

…then drag the whole part onto the grid within the Quantise panel.

Easy enough now I know how it works!
