Create hidden voice just for accompaniment

Hi,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to create a hidden voice underneath a slash voice, whilst composing to keep hearing an accompaniment idea. Something that I used to achieve in Sibelius like this:

I know I could create another player and keep it hidden, just for playback, but the issue with that is that I have to keep updating its part when editing the principal one, and I don’t want to do that if possible.

Do you mean a slash region? That will hide any notes that are in that bar anyway, and they still playback.

Thanks Ben, yes that’s what I had in mind. I didn’t know a slash region did that and behaved differently from individual slash notes, I will investigate that
