I went through the setup to create a powerpoint template. I’m having two difficulties. I clicked save as template – gave it a new category name, but now I can’t find it anywhere. Also, I need to make the staff size 150%. In the page setup I can see that I can right click on the music frame and it gives me an option to set the staff size, but when I click “custom”, no menu comes up. I also need both the first page and the default page to be exactly the same. I can’t seem to make this happen. Thanking you all in advance for help with this.
found one answer – now have both first & default page sizes the same.

If you tag a post as “Solution”, that’s were forum visitors go to, when they are searching for a similar problem. If then there isn’t an explanation, they wonder why they were pointed there - and will be left without the necessary help.

for the page setup, I kept tweaking the size in page layout until I got the desired result. I had forgotten that you can also adjust the size of the music frame.
To get the staff size to %150 I found that if I right click on the staff in engrave mode, a menu comes up that allows you to adjust the staff size.
I still don’t know where my initial template went, but I remade another and made sure the location was where I wanted it to be.

if you want to have a larger staff, try the global adjustment: Layout Options->Page Setup->Rastral Size. Change the value and have a look at the result. That’s much better than manually tweaking a single staff.
k_b: Actually I had to do both to get the right size… I did raise the rastral size, but also increased the staff size to %150. Holding a print out up to the window with a previous Finale template seemed to match. 
I think the Dorico version looks better. Now, waiting to see what the customer thinks (fingers crossed).
Is this thread really talking about a PowerPoint template, or just a Dorico template? If it’s the latter, I’d like to suggest that the title and posts be edited to remove references to PowerPoint, so that people searching the forums don’t get a mistaken impression of Dorico’s capabilities.
