Creating a tempo track

Hi guys,

I’m trying to find the easiest way to create a midi click track to an audio track that was sadly recorded without a click. The timing is pretty consistent, but being a human drummer it does move a bit.

I have to write an orchestral part, so it would be so much nice from an editing point of view if the midi and audio were synced.

Hi,

In some Cubase derivátu es, there is the Tempo detection function, which does it automatically. What Cubase version exactly do you have, please?

Then the Tempo Detection is available for you. Just select the event, and call the Tempo Detection function from the Project menu.
