Creating mixer channels for individual outputs of multi-timbral VST instruments

Hi guys,
Feature request (if it’s not currently possible) please? I’m currently using Cubase as my live performance DAW. Mainly because the DMX features I requested many months ago for VST Live still haven’t been implimented. But I’m going to start migrating over song projects to get ready for when these feature are added.

I use Kontakt 7 as my main VST instrument. In Cubase, I have it’s outputs routed to seperate channels in Cubase, so that I can EQ them and add VST effects etc. I can’t seem to figure out how to do the same in VST Live though. I can see how you route the instrument’s outputs, but only to existing channels on the mixer. I want to create a mixer channel for each of Kontakt’s outputs, to give me complete control over the sound.

Can you add this feature please?

Andrew

Isn’t the upper-left corner |> switch is what you’re looking for? (First you might create a few “group” … or “out” channel in mixer)

No, that just gives the option to route each output to pre-existing channels on the mixer. I want to create a new dedicated mixer track for each of the assigned outputs. So, in effect, if I assign 8 outputs in Kontakt, there will then be 8 new mixer tracks, each one routed to the corresponding Kontakt output.
