Creating separate files from DDP/rendered file

I have one hi-res rendered file with splitmarkers for the (CD) tracks.
What is the easiest way to export separate files/tracks from this file with the CD text as the track name?

Thanks for any insights. I had a look a the help/manual, but the Auto Split method gives strange results,

No so clear… Do you have an audio file, an audio montage, or a DDP?

Hi PG,
It’s a rendered montage with copied markers from the montage of clips of the original unrendered wav files.
I als have a DDP and the render as an audio file, with markers.

I appreciate your quick reaction, BTW.

If you have an audio file with Title markers, you can render individual titles using this setting in the Render ribbon. The file names will be those of the markers, that is, the Title names.
If you want other naming, such as CD Text as track names, you have to do it from the original montage.

Title markers are different from split markers? I am sorry, I am new to the WL terminology.

A split marker is a special title marker that defines the separation point between two titles. It functions as both an end and start marker combined into one. The icon in my image does not represent them, but consider them as part of the split process.

Alright. I will investigate this further. I had some weird results yesterday, with markers at the wrong position after the split rendering process.

I was wondering if this was the ‘normal’ way to cut a render file to separate wavs.

The quickest way to split an audio file from a montage is by using markers. However, for metadata inclusion and refined naming of each audio file, generating titles from the montage itself is necessary. This method is more powerful but also more complex, and reliable clip plugins are essential.
