Creating templates without cruft from completed scores \

Hi there. I’m curious if you could share your workflow for converting a finished project into a template… preserving the players/layouts/settings but stripping the notes, custom bars, and the layout/frame adjustments you may have made on individual parts.

Every time I write a new arrangement I end up tweaking things in the layout, engraving, and other preferences that I’d like to preserve for the next time I start a project with that ensemble.

In the past I’ve been deleting all the notes/content in the write mode… giving myself lets say 8 bars of empty music, and then saving as a template. When I do this, inevitably I encounter some weirdness/cruft down the road when I use that template… ghost frame/system breaks from earlier projects that I thought would have been deleted. What am I doing wrong and is there an easier way?

Thanks

Well there you have it. Didn’t even think of that. Appreciated.
