Cross-Staff Beam Dynamics (won't move below staff)

Hi,

I figured out somehow before how to do this, but I can’t find it anywhere: when beaming cross-staff, the hairpins show up in the middle of the two staves, interfering with the beams. However, when trying to place it differently, it only allows me to place it above, not below the second staff.
(See picture below)

How can I move it below the staff?

Enter the hairpin using the caret, ensuring that when you invoke the caret you then hit the down arrow to get it to the bottom staff.

Or select it and press alt-m (move to staff below). It works with notes but also dynamics and… anything staff related.
