Ctrl-B for bold, Ctrl-I for italics?

I’m sure this isn’t a novel request, but I’d love to be able to use Shift-B and Shift-I to change the formatting of selected text.

Searched the forum and didn’t see anything.

You mean Cmd/Ctrl, I assume. “Shift” with text should always give you a capital letter.
