by CTRL+Clicking on the velocity in the midi editor the value gets resetted to 64. Is there any reason it is 64 specifically, or can it be set to another value?
No idea.
Perhaps it’s because 64 is halfway between the velocity range of 0 to 127?
LOL. After all those years I notice this for the first time.
That is the same Ctrl + click that you use to reset any value to its default.
Somebody coded the default value at 64. As far as I can see that is hardcoded.
lol, did not notice that tool modifier setting either. Too bad its hard coded, to my mind 100 seems to be always a good sweetspot on most instruments
