CTRL key does not work after upgrade to Cubase 6

Hi, I recently upgraded from Cubase 4 to 6 mid project. Loading the Cubase 4 project in Cubase 6 is fine apart from the fact that the CTRL key doesn’t work - simply not recongnized?! Any ideas why this happens or how to fix?

In what context? Some modifiers have changed.

You have the Virtual Keyboard turned on ?

Thanks guys. Yes, it was the virtual keyboard which is a new feature for me. Doh.
