Hej hej,
Polybrute Connect (Arturia) used to work fine as a virtual instrument in Cubase.
However, the instrument track recording does not work anymore.
When I add a MIDI track, both recording on the MIDI track and the instrument track work fine. This config helps but does not save in the project; i.e. when I reopen, even with the MIDI track, recording fails.
As I just updated to CU13 I wonder if something in the routing has changed but find no help in the manual.
I would be grateful for any hint that helps resolving this.
Please see below screenshots of the settings.
Thank you, Erik
Hi,
What exactly does it mean, the recording fails, please? Could you attach a screenshot, how does it look like before closing the project and after reopening?
Btw, your PolyBrute MIDI is not part of the “All MIDI Inputs”, therefore you have to select this dedicated MIDI Port, if you want to record.
Why do you use 2 tracks? What do you want to achieve, please?
Dear Martin,
Thank you for your prompt response.
In the past I recorded MIDI on an Instrument Track and audio on an audio track and that worked fine.
Now the Instrument Track did not receive MIDI while audio recording was working fine.
However, thanks to your hint on the “All MIDI Inputs” I was able to resolve the matter and all works as it should now.
I must admit that I did not know this ‘’All MIDI’’ concept. I read again the explanation in the manual from pages 22 and think, hope I do understand now.
Many heartfelt thanks for your instant and efficacious help.
Erik
