So, I want to get this update (currently have Cubase 10), but I’m wondering, how likely is it that the update will be on some kind of sale on Black Friday. I could buy it now, but don’t wanna miss on potential savings.

Zero chance. 10.5 was out today. Would be crazy to put it on sale after a couple of weeks, don’t you think?

Just wait for the summer sale around june/july 2020 and you’ll get 40% off, then activate it 11 november and you’ll get Cubase 11 for free.
