Cubase 10.5 crashing after the smallest of actions

Hello all,

I’m fairly new to Cubase, I’m really just trying to get to work on very small and simple projects without the program crashing every minute.

Equipment:
DELL XPS 15 7590, Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 1650
Cubase 10.5

I use my Komplete Kontrol M32 from time to time but I’ve been trying to get Cubase to work without it.
I’ve done multiple resets to factory settings, uninstalling all my Native Instrument Plug-ins and disabling Spitfire Labs.

  1. I start Cubase,
  2. I start an empty project
  3. I scroll around in the project using the scroll bar (where the bar numbers are indicated)
  4. Cubase crashes
