Cubase 10.5 not getting signal on an audio channel for recording

I’m using Cubase Pro 10.5. I have a Focusrite Scarlett. It shows on the audio activity on the bottom right that I am getting signal in from it. On the audio channel, I defined the input Mono In Input 1. I don’t show any signal coming into the track for recording. Any thoughts as to what’s wrong?

Are you on Mac or Windows?

How is your Audio Connections > Inputs set up? What Input do you use on the track? Is the Monitor button enabled?

Windows. I did find the issue. It was an external device issue. Thanks for the response
