I had Cubase pro 10.5 (dongle) on my old laptop and I have now downloaded the updated to Cubase Pro 13 (still with dongle) on my new laptop. Does anyone know the reason why in ‘My Steinberg’ it still shows 'Cubase Pro 11 (Upgraded to Cubase 12 with Steinberg Licensing)’
**Should it not be Upgraded to Cubase 13??
I have activated Cubase pro 13 on my from ‘Activation Manager’ and it works fine.
I am experiencing plug ins being ‘blocklisted’ such as brand new Steven slate plugin. I have the same Cubase pro 13 at my workplace and the Steven Slate VSX headphones and the plug in works fine.
Can anyone help please or advice. I have reached out to Steinberg and Steven Slate and no answer.
Thanks in advance.
Cubase Pro 13 is not using the USB-eLicenser anymore.
This is because you updated your eLicenser license to the new licensing system. You don’t need USB-eLicenser for Cubase 13 anymore. But, if you would like to start CUbase 11 or older, you can with this license, which is sitting on the USB-eLicenser.
It is updated to Cubase 13 in the Steinberg Activation Manager (not in the eLicenser).
I have to say Martin, (I must to start calling you Mr Guru), please excuse my ignorance on these matters. I have not had to do any administrative work on Cubase since downloading 10.5 so now it all makes sense as you explained.
