CUBASE 10 Not finding newly installed VST3 Plugin

Hello,
I recently installed two new VST3 plugins, Wave Alchemy Magic 7 and Black Salt Audio Silencer. Both VST3’s were installed to Program Files/Common Files/VST3
Both installed with no issue and Cubase recognized Magic 7 immediately.
However Silencer was not listed in the plugin manager window. I tried refreshing the list, re-adding the directory, etc. No luck. I can see the VST3 file for Silencer is in the above folder, but Cubase doesn’t seem to recognize it.

Does anyone know if this would be a Cubase issue or something with the VST3 file itself?
Thanks!

have you looked in the “blacklist” folder? maybe it is there and needs reactivation? also make sure that it is the actual VST3 plugin and not the vst2 format in the vst folder

I will check the blacklist folder thanks for that!
As for the file itself, I believe in Windows I have the “file type” visible in the VST3 folder and it read VST3 for the file. Is there any other way?

Hello!
Did you make any progress with this?
I have a similar problem with Black Salt Audio’s Silencer. The plugin appears but I get an error when inserting it into a track. I activated Opengl when installing as it is required for Cubase.

Hi Chisco,
So far no solution yet. You are one step further than I am though! I can’t even get Silencer to appear in my plugin list, let alone load it. I’ll be reaching out to Black Salt Audio to see if they have a solution and reply with an update.
