Cubase 11 Audio Export is out of sync with its Video

Hello everyone,

I’ve been scoring SFX, music and additional foley’s for a 49 minutes gameplay video and while I was working with the audio and video playback of Cubase everything was synced. However when I created an export of the audio and added it to the video on iMovie, the beginning was fine but slowly as it progressed it started becoming out of sync.

The video format was .mp4 and I suppose its frame rate is not the same with my project setup which was 48.000 and 24 bit. What should I do?

You should check your Cubase project frame rate. Make sure it’s same as the source video and also your iMovie project.

Is the video constant or variable frame rate?

Audio sample rate and bit depth should not make a difference.
