Cubase 11 Elements unusable - Cannot figure out the problem

Hi, the other day I installed Cubase 11 Elements on my Windows 10 machine (version 21H2, i.e., the latest version of Windows 10). My PC is using an Nvidia GeForce 1070 with no other graphics card in use.

Unfortunately Cubase is not running properly at all. Please have a look:

I have tried reinstalling Cubase. Even tried Cubase 10.5, didn’t work. Graphics card driver is up to date. Any ideas?
