I recently upgraded from 9.5 artist to 11 pro. I didn’t get an installation file though.
Reason I’m asking is, how am I going to re-install 11 pro in case of format? (I have an installation file for 9.5)

You don’t need one - just create an account (where your authorization is kept) and use the download manager so your file is never lost and all your installation files are up to date!
When you use Download Assistant, it will leave the installer in the folder you specified for downloaded files.
And installers are also available here:
