I’ve never had this issue before. Every single time I try to save a project (not a new one), it takes forever. So long that I just force quit every single time and reply on my autosave file for my latest saved project. I’m on Mojave, using Cubase 11. Project size is not even 2MB for Christ sake.

Are you on Mac or Windows?
Could you try to Backup Project from the File menu? Is it the same with the back upped project?

Since saving upon quitting is always causing this issue, I’ve started SAVING first, then QUITTING … it will ALWAYS ask me to save or quit upon quitting, so I just quit, but if I save when it asks me that it gets stuck and I’m always forced to force quit Cubase.
