Cubase 12.0.60 Pro : EQ settings not saved

Here is a video of a waveform on a piano that doesn’t run EQ after loading a project and starts working after confirming band 1. This error is on all EQ tracks…

Hi,

In the video, you wrote, you have to “confirm” the EQ settings. From the video I understand it so, you disabled and re-ebabled the given band. Once you disable and re-ebable band 1, does the whole EQ start to work (all bands)? Our do you have to re-ebable every single band one by one?

I would try to reinstall Cubase (mainly the plugin set). As you are on Windows, install it as administrator, please.

I did this several times, always the same. And it’s as you write, I have to confirm the EQ band first before it starts working. It was also on Cubase 11…

Hi,

Once you “confirm” it on one of the band, does it apply for all bands or do you have to do it one by one?

Then I would try to rename/remove all Cubase versions preferences folders.

No, I have to run each EQ on each track, each band separately. When I load the project, it works at 60 Tracks for 20 minutes. It’s very annoying…

Rename the folders so that Cubase loses the direct paths to them where it writes and uploads information…I understand, I will do it…And I will let you know

This solved my problem. When loading a project, I always had the internal EQ scattered and turned off. The moment I saved the internal EQ as default equal and turned it on, when loading any project new or old, the EQ works… Thanks for the advice
