Hi! could you please tell me if the crash is occurring when you are trying to install the current library via net DL? I had a lot of issues with it crashing and had to do my own custom setup workaround. No issue since.

So if it was the issue I had. You can’t do download all presets when you first load. You’ll need to do between 5-8 at a time otherwise I had a crash. Either way send me your dumps and I’ll have a geez for you

Did you have any of Minimal Audio plugins installed before installing current? You may need to delete Currents preferences which is located @ C:\ProgramData\Minimal\Current Delete global.settings, minimal.license, minimal.
Launch cubase run current again follow steps to register. Do this on a blank Cubase canvas.

Out of interest. What are the current ASIO/BUFFER SETTINGS?
Ps the vst2 method will not work. As of Cubase 13 the vst2 dataset support has been discontinued. I got a big surprise the first time at how many plugins I’d lost.
Honestly tho, it’s nice being limited to vst3 and really having to explore the power of all Steinberg self made vst’s!

It crashes in the Current plug-in. Steinberg cannot do anything against it. Please, get in contact with the plug-in vendor. Thank you.
I’m going to get a friend on windows to give it a go as Mac handles pathways and audio differently.
What is VST2 dataset support?

Cubase 13 is still working with VST2 plug-ins on Windows and Mac Intel (or Mac Silicon in the Rosetta mode).

Sorry for delayed response…
I have read that having previous MA plugin installed then installing Current on top can cause the cached files to courpt (Delete the cached files resolves this). MA released an update to current a few days ago that fixes this i believe.

I’ve installed the 1.1.1 version of Current if that’s what you are referring to.
Still spikes audio performance meter in Cubase 13 & lights the over processing bit .
I think this is what causes the crash.
May have to install another Daw for comparison.
Will try out what you suggested next time I’m on the PC.
This is all fairly devastating as Current is the new synth everyone is talking about & I’ve never had this sort of issue before.

Yeah its a bummer when this crap happens. i Picked up a copy of groove shaper 2 weeks ago. Handy little of tool, but i can use it cuase everytime i insert the plugin it loads, i goto login to register the plugin and bang crashes any app that side loads it. To add insult to injury the developers have gone silent cause.
SO yeah, i do get how you must be feeling right now.
Give i i mentioned a try and see how that goes…
