Today I had the PC online for once and unfortunately a Windows update was installed.
Now Cubase 12 (latest version) can no longer find the RME ASIO driver for my UCX II. Cubase always uses the standard driver. When the program starts, it doesn’t ask. It is no longer displayed either.
Cubase 11 is also on the computer. It finds the driver without any problems.
I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled it, but with no result.
What can I do?

Hast du schon versucht, die RME-Treiber neu zu installieren (mit anschließendem Computer-Neustart)? Evtl. wurden beim Windows-Update Dateien ersetzt, die verhindern, dass Cubase 12 den ASIO-Treiber findet. Im Geräte-Manager werden ja nur die WDM-Treiber angezeigt. ASIO-Treiber tauchen dort normalerweise nicht auf.

Es ist egal, ob es normal ist, es hat einfach nichts mit dem ASIO Treiber zu tun.
Was sagt das ASIO Bedienfeld vom RME?
Was sagt denn die Treiberliste in Cubase 12?
Dort stehen die relevanten Treiber drin.
