I’m not sure how we would be able to repair or replace a defective USB-eLicenser once the eLicenser system has been retired, either, as there will be no way for us to replace or update the licenses on the eLicenser either.
But, as we have said over and over again until we’re quite tired, before we switch off the eLicenser servers, we will have policies in place to protect the licenses of existing users for older products that have not otherwise made the jump to Steinberg Licensing. We can’t say exactly what those policies and procedures will be yet, but please trust that we mean what we say about ensuring this is solved.
