Cubase 12 Midi control Disable Midi notes to VST instruments

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with my midi controller after I try to assign any controls in the new Midi Controller in cubase 12. Before selecting my controller in the bottom session, everything works perfectly and I am able to control my VST instruments with my keys. As soon as I select the controller and try to make any custom mapping, it disables the midi notes and I am unable to use my VST instruments.

Hi @Migue_Martinez, as long as the Mapping Assistant is open, the MIDI messages are routed to it exclusively. That is needed for the implicit MIDI listening to work. As we see some users complain about it, we are discussing a better way. For the time being, please close the Mapping Assistant when you’re done with creating new assignments.
