I found 100% bug.

In Cubase 11 if you switch on snap to zero crossing
and close the sample editor then open it again - the setting will be on.
In Cubase 12 it always gets switched off. I open the sample editor, turn it on, then close the sample editor. Open it again, and the setting is off. I don’t know if it is on purpose but I hope it is not.
Who can possibly do edits in the sample editor without the snap to zero crossing
option on?
The same bug with the Acoustic feedback
button.
The same with the Left zone
every time I reopen the Sample editor
it is hidden. This is definitely not how it was in C11. And I don’t like this.
Bruh! I can not replicate it now. But I swear to god it was real, that’s why I decided to make the post. To report the bug.
I have figured it out: after “Audio > Make direct offline processing permanent” this bug expresses itself. You need to restart the program to make it go away.
Also, I use track versions. Just saying. I didn’t check if it has influence.

Can anybody confirm this? Did the devs acknowledge about this?
Can anybody confirm this?
Hi,
I’m sorry, I cannot reproduce it here.
- Open Sample Editor. Make sure the Snap to Zero Crossing is enabled.
- Audio > Process > Gain (or any other process).
- Audio > Make Direct Offline Processing Permanent.
- Click the Sure button.
- Open Sample Editor. The Snap to Zero Crossing is enabled.
- Disable the Snap to Zero Crossing.
- Close Sample Editor.
- Open Sample Editor. The Snap to Zero Crossing is disabled.
- Enable Sample Editor.
- Open Sample Editor. The Snap to Zero Crossing is enabled.
Works as expected.
I showed it in the video, did you watch it?
Hi,
I’m sorry, I don’t see any video in this thread.
Because I can’t post videos at all (very welcoming, btw)
Here it is

Hi,
This has been fixed in Cubase 13.
