Has there been any improvement with the Staff (Score) notation editor in Cubase 12.
Also, can Dorico 4 be used to take a Cubase 12 midi file for more note editing and then be inputted back to cubase 12? The midi file would be created by the Yamaha Genos Arrangers Keyboard. In this way it would give more flexibility to the arranger to change notes while sustaining the original articulations of the Genos. your replies are appreciated

Hi! According to Cubase 12 Release Notes, the following Score Editor improvements have been made:

  • When changing the page setup for printing scores, the page display is now displayed as expected.

  • Vertical mouse wheel scrolling in the Score Editor edit mode now works as expected.

  • Usability improvement when editing lines in the Score Editor (Horizontal lines can now be moved when added to the Score Editor).

  • General stability improvement.
