Do you mean you have C12 up and running in Win10 20H2, despite the stated requirements for C12 saying “21H2 and newer” ?
Thanks a bunch for this. Truly saved my mind.
Simple and genius solution. It is working now. Thanks and respect.
worked for me too, thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for your issue. I almost re-install all my Windows system due to that problems. THANKS A LOT M. Richyseb
Windows User check if you have admin rights and that the folder is not write-protected, in case that HEYDO´s solution doesn t work.
I’ve tried a few of the earlier suggestions, but had no luck. The only successful solution I found was by adding a Symbol link (Symlink) from the original folder ;
…/common files/vst3
to your new folder ;
./Program files/Cubase 12/vst3/New Folder
The program (Symlink Creator) is free to DL & use.
I am currently using -
Cubase 12, Version 12.00.10 build 247.
On - Win x64 Pro Version 22H2.
Hope this is useful to others.
Symlink Creator worked for me. Thanks for your help.
Better late than never!
Remove everything in the VST3 folder but “Steinberg” folder and restart Cubase. Close Cubase and put everthing back… Worked for me
THAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU so much.
