So installed 13.0.20 (Pro) yesterday, I setup the template to use only VST3 plugins, but some of the older projects, I tend to load up and change the VST2 instruments to VST3, now I can’t tell them apart anymore on this latest Cubase when seeing the VST list!
When I add a new instrument track, same issue of course!
Why was the feature of distinguishing the VST2 and VST3 plugins removed, the /// for VST3? A bug or deliberate?

It should: it didn’t make it to 13.0.20 by a hair.

Workaround ideas, anyone?
I created a new container including just VST3 instruments, same for plugins.

Thanks for bringing this up, was wondering myself…
In fact the 3 slashes are still visible!
Greg Ondo provided the solution: When selecting a plug-in, hold down the mouse button and move the mouse to the right. The list of plugs moves to the left and the 3 slashes appear.

Beautiful, thanks @af06fr !
ohh wow, the vst icon doesn’t fit. There is also a scroll bar at the bottom of the list that you can use to scroll to the right, then you can see all the VST3 plugins.
