Tried using the Chord Pads in 13.0.10 - they work fine when clicked, but despite ages digging in menus and the manual, wouldn’t respond to my MIDI keyboard. (Or the virtual keys at the bottom, if that’s meant to work) - there’s no help since the setup has changed since 12 and the 13 manual didn’t say much.

Do you have any MIDI/Instrument track with Record or Monitor enabled, please? Do you play your keyboard in the correct octave?
Yes! I can happily trigger the chords by clicking on the big buttons. But they don’t respond to my midi keyboard (I can still see the MIDI indicator turn on in the transport when I press a key). I’ve tried up and down the octaves.
I have the same problem.
I’m having the same issue where I can find the little button in the key Editor with the tool tip for ‘Assign Chord Pad from MIDI’. But, it’s all always greyed out. I can’t figure why it’s grayed out and I am not able to assign a chord pad using my keyboard. You used to be able to right-click on a pad and that doesn’t seem to apply anymore…
I’d love to get an official acknowledgment of this either being a bug or how to fix it
