Cubase 13 crash - dbgcore.dll

Hello there,

I have

  • Intel I9 - 14th generation
  • 64Gb Ram
  • 3 M2 - HDD
  • Gigabyte RTX 3060

I have a recently fresh installation.
I worked on the computer JUST FINE even yesterday on a project.
I use this PC only for music.
I closed the PC last night a 3 am after workin on a song. Everything was fine.

today i turned on the PC … and Cubase KEEPS crashing.
The CrashDumps have 0 KB, nothing is seen in the log.

  1. I uninstalled > cleaned registries > reinstalled several times.
  2. did 3 system restores.
  3. I even replaced this DLL > SYSTEM32\dbgcore.DLL

Does anyone have a fix for this?
I am in NO position right now to reinstall WINdows - as I am in the middle of a project.

Please advise.

You could try updating Cubase (latest version is 13.0.41).

Thank you so much for your answer but such updates have nothing to do with the specific crash, unfortunately.

Hi,

Update to the latest 13.0.41 and let Cubase crash. Then attach the *.dmp file. In this case we can resolve the *.dmp file and see what’s going on.

my dump / crash files have ZERO kb and the files are empty - no report.

update was made .

Thank yo for writing.

Hi,

Where does this report come from then, please?
