I’d like to add that there is something odd with Diva on macOS 13.6.4 in Cubase 13.0.20 as well, but Diva is functional. In the plugin manager it’s in the Blocklist, but the plugin still loads and works, and if I try to rescan in Rosetta mode from within the Plugin Manager, Cubase crashes (even though it didn’t crash during the initial scan).
Hi,
Isn’t the VST2 version Blocklisted and VST3 version available?
Hi Martin,
Nope. In the Blocklist it’s Diva.vst3, and in the VST Instruments list it’s Diva (Reactivated) VST 3.7.8 in bold red. This is on an M1 MacBook Pro.
I tried it on my 2019 Intel MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.3.1 and there are weirder issues there. Initially it didn’t load so I had to Reactivate it, it then loads as expected except if I instantiate a new instance, then the presets I had used and tagged don’t show up, yet they show up in the pre-existing instance that was saved in Cubase 12.0.70.
For what it’s worth, I’m running an unactivated demo of Diva on both machines.
I tried searching on the u-he website for the beta but it doesn’t seem like they made it public as the latest version in their pre-release list is from Nov 2022.
Hi,
That means, you reactivated it from the Blocklist manually. Cubase knows, why did it blocklist, because it might cause a crash (what also happens to you).
Yes, I did, as it was immediately blocklisted after the initial launch, which I did in Rosetta specifically because of this whole issue. But my point is it’s not limited to Sonoma.
I actually remember Diva causing a crash on this machine (M1, Ventura) about 2 months ago in Cubase 12.0.70, while I was instantiating the plugin, but it only happened once.
Hi,
As I mentioned above, the plug-in vendor is aware of it and they are working on the fix.
Could they let us know when it does get up and running? I really like DIVA and plan to utilize it in my template. I haven’t tried it yet, but maybe running it through VEPro7 will do the trick. I’d rather not but…
I believe that they have fixed this. From memory I had to download a beta version from their user forum. But that was aa couple weeks ago. I’ll try source the exact process I took >

Your welcome!
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Ask the plug-in vendor, please.
@Martin.Jirsak could you please refer to the fix I have provided above. This has been rectified in the new Diva Beta for almost 2 weeks now*
