Cubase 13: The program does not record. Ik can hear the guitar. It looks like their is a connection missing, although audio-coctions seem to be OK.
Hi,
Are you on Windows or Mac? Which version?
How does the Audio Connections > Inputs look like?
Are you talking about audio, right?
If you are on Mac: Make sure Cubase has enabled Mic in the System Preferences, please.
Open macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone. Enable Cubase here.
Good morning Martin,
I use a Macbook Pro 15". Since 28 september with OS Sonoma.
The Audio Connections look in order, as I learned it.
I talk about recording audiotracks.
I have enabled Cubase 13 for the microfoon.
Cubase does still not record.
Hi,
Could you attach a screenshot of the
- Audio Connections > Inputs
- The Project window, while recording, where we can see:
β Record Enable and Monitor button
β Selected Input of the track
β Meters
dear Martin. Thanks to your questions i managed to solve the problem. For the microfone the red enable button en the monitor button stood wrong, and the electric guitar: I had forgotten to switch on the D.I. box. Itβs working fine now. Thank you!
Mic enabled in Cubase 13 Pro, track selected and record enabled, audio connections are correct using Apollo x4 as the interface. Hit record on an electric guitar track using Helix that is connected to my Mac mini M1 and nothing is recorded.
Hi,
Did you double-check this setting, please?
