I suspect they outsorsed GUI work to India, it looks like it was done in couple hours by some teenager in Bangalore for 10 bucks. No way anyone even with minimum knowlege would implement bold white font … or flat buttons … or toy looking faders…etc

Of course. And then they went to work at the Yamaha call center for the rest of the day. Sheesh.
